Jeremy Hewett
I’m the President and Chief Operating Officer of AccuQuote and I love my job.
I have the pleasure of interacting with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met on a daily basis and together we manage the day to day activities, drive change, encourage action, motivate each other as well as design, plan and execute on our initiatives.
And there are always initiatives.
We have created and are continually fueling a positive culture of action, growth and optimization with a strong focus on excellence.
We not only want to be great, we’ve got to be great…for our employees, for the clients who we are lucky enough to attract and for our bottom line. It’s good business and it’s good for business.
I spend about half of my time working closely with our Senior Leadership Team as well as many of our Managers and Directors in order to assure we’re all rowing in the same direction and I spend the other half of my time working closely with our internal and external teams, valued business partners, potential business partners and Insurance companies working to develop projects, onboard products and explore potential value propositions so that we’re leading the target as it pertains to remaining increasingly relevant in a very, very overcrowded marketplace.
AccuQuote has been my home for past 18 years. I grew up here and it’s a big part of who I am. I’ve held most of the jobs, I’ve managed cases, changed light bulbs, chased medical records and I’ve personally protected over 2500 families, helping them secure over $1.2 BILLION in life insurance protection and I take a tremendous amount of pride in that! We sell LIFE INSURANCE and we sell lots of it and that is really what it’s all about for me. It’s the only product on the planet that replaces your income if you’re no longer here to earn it for yourself. It keeps families in their homes, schools and communities and THAT is worth working hard for.
To have started at the ground level and now be directly influencing how we do business is an incredible honor, but it’s also a great responsibility that I do not take lightly.
Outside of this place I spend a lot of time with my wife Jen, who is my best friend, our three awesome kids Noah, Mason and Laurie and our giant dog Edison. I love to play, see, listen to and occasionally write music, I’m a diehard Cubs fan, I’ve got a green thumb and I love to spend time teaching my kids how to build and create things. We love projects at the Hewett house!
